chore(host-service,trpc,cli,desktop): decouple the app from v2_projects - #6436
Conversation
Severs the app's dependence on the cloud v2_projects table so it can be dropped later and the projects name reclaimed. Does not drop the table. - deletes the dead v2Project list/create/update procedures (zero callers) - host-service project.setup no longer falls back to a cloud lookup: origin comes from the local row or the origin param, with a clear NOT_FOUND when neither is present - deletes the legacy linkRepoCloneUrl write-back and the fire-and-forget v2Project.delete cleanup in project.remove - project-backfill drops its cloud arm and becomes a pure local sweep - CLI projects setup gains --repo-url/--name with automatic resolution from the target or local host, so existing invocations keep working - desktop v1-migration passes origin from the candidate it already has - deletes the automation router's verifyProjectInOrg, which was already a no-op for local-first projects Exactly one production v2_projects consumer remains, fenced with a comment: findByGitHubRemote in project.findByPath, reachable only from the v1 importer and dying with it. Also removes isInternalBuild() (zero callers after the ACP deletion) and retires plans/host-integration-test.md, which cited tests deleted in #6434.

📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughProject setup now carries repository origin metadata, resolves missing metadata across hosts, and stores local project data without legacy cloud lookups. Backfill derives names from repository paths. Automation and project routes remove cloud project validation and lifecycle operations. Host integration coverage is documented. Host integration test plan
Estimated code review effort: 4 (Complex) | ~45 minutes Mergeability Score: 🟡 Moderate · up to The PR moves host-integration documentation into the completed plans while it still presents several unimplemented validation lanes as current or required release coverage, which could mislead maintainers about test confidence. The documentation status and coverage description should be corrected before merge. Sequence Diagram(s)sequenceDiagram

76-78: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Separate shipped coverage from pending acceptance criteria.
The document states that OS-process restart, Node, parser, and iOS lanes are still missing on Lines 76-78. The “Always-run deterministic lane” and acceptance section present related capabilities as current coverage or required passing criteria. Mark these items as pending target work, or update the status only after the lanes are implemented. Otherwise, readers can treat incomplete coverage as release evidence.
Suggested wording change
-### Always-run deterministic lane (belt and suspenders) +### Deterministic lane status - - a Node lane for the production `better-sqlite3` driver and packaged host - entrypoint. + - [pending] a Node lane for the production `better-sqlite3` driver and packaged + host entrypoint. +The OS-process restart, canonical parser, and iOS lanes remain pending. Also applies to: 138-148, 172-180

After this, v2_projects has no inbound FKs and exactly one consumer repo-wide: findByGitHubRemote, called by the v1 to v2 importer. No shipped desktop version subscribes to the v2_projects Electric shape (verified across 1.15 through 1.20.2), so the table's only remaining gate is the importer, which is still live: ~67 auto-migrations and ~68 bulk imports this week as the rollout ramps.
